We’ve recently set up our fanclub ‘I Love LondonEdge & LENY’, using the Myspace Groups facility. The group has been set up for the benefit of all in the cult clothing, assessories and giftware industry who frequent our trade-shows or those who are interested in attending. As it stands we already have 171 members and this figure is increasing daily. Just a brief reminder for those of you that exhibited at the first ever LENY show in July to reserve your space for our next show in February 2008. The event will take place from the 28th February to the 1st March in the RIVER PAVILLION @ the Javits Centre, New York. You now have an early chance to re-book before the space goes on general sale. A massive thankyou to all those that attended the inaugural LENY show in back in July which was judged a big success. Kelin Phillipson, LENY’s Event Director says
‘LENY’s debut in the Big Apple was a great success and lots of fun. It seems that America greatly appreciated the English etticate & LondonEdge’s firm belief that this unique show is there for the success of EVERYONE within the industry. We are all very excited to be returning for the next edition of LENY at the end of February 2008, where we will be taking over the beautiful River Pavillion within the Javits Centre. See you all there’.
Buyer feedback was also very positive. Exactly 70% of buyers said that they will definitly be back in New York for the next show, and another 29% said that they would like to return if at all possible!!! In total 15 soveriegn countries and 23 different US states attended which produced a very cosmopolitan atmosphere. LENY received an excellent reaction from the press, Denise Hood, from the respected HQ magazine writes
‘they [the organisers] brought years of experience with them to provide an atmosphere like no other trade show……the design of the venue was good, the vendors were some of the best in the industry and the perks were many’.
